School Uniform

School uniform is compulsory and must be worn in a neat and tidy fashion.  Students are expected to take pride in their appearance.  Ties must be properly worn, collars buttoned, shirts and blouses tucked in.

Please ensure that all items of uniform are clearly labelled with your child’s name.
Boys​​

Shoes - Black leather (no trainers, boots or canvas shoes)

Socks - Plain black or grey socks

Trousers - Mid-grey school trousers (not charcoal or dark grey)

Shirt - Mid Blue (no turquoise, navy or denim) White shirt for Year 13 and 14 students

Tie - Regulation clip-on tie for Years 8 to 12 students Regulation Sixth Form tie for Year 13 and 14 students

Pullover - Plain navy blue V necked (no sweatshirts)

Blazer - Regulation navy blue with reflective trim and school badge

Overcoat - Plain black or navy with reflective panels (optional)

Scarf - School scarf (optional) – available from school office
Girls

Skirt - Mid grey knee-length with 2 single pleats, front and
back (not charcoal or dark grey)

Jewellery
One plain ring and watch is permitted. Girls may wear one pair of ear studs or small sleepers in the ear lobes. No other piercings or retainers are acceptable. Jewellery must be removed for PE.

Hair and Make-Up
Extremes of hair colour, shaved or partially shaved hair and minority fashion cuts are not acceptable.
Students should not bring make-up to school. If it is applied at home, it should be discreet. In the event of inappropriate make-up being applied, students will be asked to remove it.
